International Scholars Program

The International Scholars Program provides an opportunity for international physicians to observe clinical care in outpatient, inpatient and operative settings. Visiting scholars are also invited and encouraged to attend our weekly teaching and patient planning conferences. Participating divisions within the Department of Otolaryngology include:

  • Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery & Reconstructive Surgery
  • Laryngology
  • Otology/Neurotology
  • Pediatric Otolaryngology
  • Skull Base Surgery & Rhinology
  • Sleep Medicine
  • Balance/Vestibular
  • Facial Plastics/Facial Nerve

Physicians from all over the globe are invited to apply. In 2024, we had 8 visiting scholars from 8 different countries, including Italy, China, Vietnam,  Ukraine, Mexico, Lithuania, Turkey, and Greece. 

Up to a three-month maximum stay with a possibility of a research extension 

Application fee is $1,000.00 non-refundable

All financial support will be the responsibility of the visiting scholar’s home institution and/or their personal resources.
